Presidents Message
R
edefining sisterhood during a global
pandemic was no small task, but the
women of Theta Chapter persevered and
experienced new friendships, opportunities,
and growth.
Throughout the past year, there was so much
uncertainty regarding everything we knew
as sorority women and college students.
Through the highs and lows, we achieved
some of the great elements that Theta Chapter
is known for. A few highlights include raising
nearly $27,000 for our beneficiaries without
our signature Kappa Klassic event, holding
in-person initiation ceremonies for the fall
and spring pledge classes, volunteering
at Cedar Creek, a virtual sesquicentennial
Founders Day, a Greek Week championship,
Spring Supporters Weekend, senior dinner
celebration, and several sweet sisterhood
events in between.
This year was definitely trying, but we relied
on each other and all those who make Theta
Chapter remarkable and can confidently look
back with pride. As we prepare for the fall
2021 semester, we are eager for normalcy and
ready to return stronger than ever!
Loyally,
Hannah Venneman '18
