ARE FRATERNITIES STILL RELEVANT?
With the closure of Alpha Phi Chapter, compounded by the persistent negative news stories surrounding fraternities and sororities, it
is fair to ask the question, "Are Greek organizations as relevant today as they were in my generation?" Contrary to these news stories,
fraternity membership among all fraternities, both nationwide and at Iowa State, is at an all-time high and continues to expand. Pi Kappa
Alpha is also experiencing record membership and growth.
