It's even harder to believe that we have occupied the current chapter house on Universit y Court for 50 years—longer than any previous house in the 140-year history of Zeta Psi! Our housing competition on campus, both Universit y and Greek, are making significant improvements with new and renovation projects. Now is the time to bring our house up to date, both for the safet y of and the brotherhood experience of our active members." – John Russell '68, Campaign Board Member and Building Company Member "Sigma Chi has played a significant role in many aspects of my life: my family, my career, close lifelong friendships. My active years as a Sigma Chi have well prepared me for life's many challenges and I will be forever grateful. It is more important than ever that we offer that same opportunit y today to the young men of Zeta Psi." – Rick Fearn '78, Campaign Board Member and Building Company Member "We can all look back and remember the first time the White Cross was pinned on our chest. That was the beginning of your lifelong adventure with Sigma Chi. I had the pleasure of serving as the r ush chairman in 1970, our first year in the new house on Universit y. At that time, the Sigma Chi house was a state-of-the-art facilit y. Today, it is not competitive with brand-new or renovated fraternit y houses. It is time for us to pay it forward so the next generation can share our Sigma Chi experience. I hope you consider the value of your Sigma Chi membership and make a donation to the Leadership Lives Here campaign." – Jay Piper '74, Campaign Board Member "I feel honored and privileged to be able to give back to Zeta Psi, which has given so much to so many fine young men over the past 140 years. My pledge is made in honor of lifelong friendships formed in Clifton during the 1950s and sustained to this day. This campaign is critical for continuing the tradition of excellence for Cincinnati Sigs. I urge alumni to show their pride by pledging financial support to this worthwhile cause." – Bill Johnson '58, Campaign Board Member and Lincoln W. Pavey Educational Foundation Member "Sigma Chi is the standard bearer of excellence and leadership development on college campuses. This capital campaign helps ensure that continues for generations to come. Some of the best memories I have are not limited to time with Sigs while attending UC but also the memories and support net work we develop years later as lifelong friends." – Brian Delany '07, Lincoln W. Pavey Educational Foundation Secretary and Campaign Board Member
