Whether you want to learn to cook or learn to code, ride a bike or a kayak, study butterflies or basketball, there is a day camp for you in Northwest Arkansas. Here are just a few to consider. Boys and girls club of Benton county camps Their summer program is available at their Bentonville, Rogers, Bella Vista, and Pea Ridge locations. The program will be broken into weekly sessions, each will have a theme with programming and activities reflecting that theme. Ages: 6-18 Dates: June 7 – August 6 *Closed July 5 - July 9 Times: Monday - Friday 7:30 am to 5:30 pm *Extended hours from 7 am to 6 pm available for additional fee. Get outside, learn about the natural world and have fun creating art! Campers will apply critical and creative thinking skills through interactive and hands-on exploration of science and ecology concepts including carnivorous plants, reptiles, mammals, insects, and much more. Butterfly Day Camp August 2 – 6 8:45 am – 3:15 pm daily For children ages 8-11 years old. In this five-day camp, butterfly volunteers will lead campers through hands-on lessons, engaging science projects and various pollinator activities. All campers will also receive a caterpillar keeper/cage and caterpillar to raise at home! Botanical Garden of the Ozarks 4703 N. Summer Camps each year is to provide healthy, fun, and educational activities for campers age 5-15 years (all campers must have completed Kindergarten). Regardless of experience in outdoor recreation or sports, each child is welcome and encouraged to participate in Be Active and choose from Outdoor Adventure Camp, Soccer Camp, Tennis Camp, Buddy Pegs Bike Camp, Theatre Camp and Camp Wilson. Many sessions end with a Friday showcase event that parents are encouraged to attend! Their one-of-a-kind facility in Lowell features a full length driving range, putting green, short game center, an indoor practice driving range – complete with an indoor putting green and full swing simulator, and a newly designed and re-vamped Par 3, 9-hole course. Each week of camp will have campers going through different skill rotations through the week to work on different aspects of their game. Lunch will be provided on Thursdays, the last day of camp only, along with an awards ceremony celebrating the week.
