Undergraduate Brothers Sustain Scholastic Success IOWA STATE UNIVERSITY PAGE 3 T he spring 2020 semester started off great for the Gamma Upsilon undergraduate brothers. However, things changed significantly when COVID-19 spread across the world. Upon conclusion of spring break, Iowa State went remote and students finished out the semester from home. Not to be stopped by the historic adverse circumstances, the Gamma Upsilon brothers rose to the occasion by staying focused and achieving a chapter GPA of 3.58 last spring, the highest ever for the chapter. We were honored to recognize the scholastic achievements of 28 brothers by awarding them $31,500 in scholarships on November 5, 2020. Congratulations to all the fall 2020 scholarship recipients for their outstanding academic success and contributions to Gamma Upsilon and Iowa State.
