6 • 2021 Dogwood Festival Nothing rivals a festival when it comes to energy, excitement and the smell of good food. Dogwood Festival food vendors will surely tempt your taste buds and are guaranteed to not disappoint the eager palate of Dogwood attendees. This is the first year Lindsey Taylor, Director of Community Development for the Siloam Springs Chamber of Commerce, is overseeing the coordination of the food vendors for the festival. "I grew up here in Siloam Springs and attended the festival probably every year of my childhood. We always have to get our favorites – Kettle corn and root beer!," Taylor said. "It has been exciting to be on the inside of the operation to see how it all comes together." Jerry Carsten of Carsten Concessions is working with Lindsey to make sure there are plenty of savory and sweet options for all appetites and all ages! This isn't just your usual fair food (of course, you'll find lots of that too!). Dogwood Festival offers quite an eclectic collection of yummy eats. Here are this year's returnees: Carsten Concessions Longtime festival food vendor Carsten Concessions returns with their variety of savory and sweet menu items. If funnel cakes are your thing they have both traditional ones as well as gourmet ones like Oreo and S'mores and more.
