THE FUTURE OF CHI
T
ri Sigma has a storied history at Pitt State—one to be proud of as alumnae of this chapter. Our
investment in the future of Chi Chapter will help ensure our continued success and promote
a legacy upon which to build an even greater sisterhood. Today, perhaps more than ever, college
sororities play a relevant role in shaping the lives of young women. And as the COVID-19 crisis
has demonstrated, the need for community, a safe place to call home, and the support and comfort
of sisters remains integral to the college experience.
The undergraduate women have made a commitment to work hard in maintaining the programs
and traditions that have benefitted the lives of so many Chi members over the years. Together with
our active members, the volunteer leadership of the Chi Chapter Housing Corporation is committed
to this major undertaking, which will allow us to update our chapter house and compete with other
sororities and housing options in Pittsburg.
We urge your thoughtful consideration of this plan. With your support, Tri Sigma will provide a
quality living environment that supports, nurtures, and develops outstanding young women with
the skills and confidence to face an ever-changing world. The commitment we make today
cannot be underestimated—it will have a ripple effect on the lives of our Tri Sigma sisters for
years to come.
