We are going to make this a fun and safe event, but we will make it happen following social distancing and safety protocols dur- ing these many challenging times. Santa certainly has found his way to Quartzsite. Questions-just call. Thanks! A heartfelt thank you to all the Borderline Riders and Punish- ers LEMC who brought boxes and boxes of new toys, clothing, and even bikes. This annual event gets bigger and bigger even during this pandemic. Thank you to all the RV parks in town that had the large toy donation boxes in their clubhouse. Another shout out of thanks to the QIA Bingo Group for a very sub- stantial donation of $1000.00 to supplement our Christmas events. There will be many excited chil- dren. These toys, new socks, books, and pajamas will be for the Angel Tree and or the Santa Event kiddos. Blessings to everyone. Our Angel Tree had fi fty in need children that our amazing pa- trons shopped for and purchased so many beautiful gifts. So many lovely stories of excitement of what was purchased were shared. Angel Wings were certainly earned by so many amazing folks again this year. Though our numbers were less than usual, the appreciation is huge. We must limit the number of shoppers at times when the store is overcrowded. The front gate will be closed with signage, "one out - one in". It might look like we are closed, but that is not the case. Face cov- erings are required with nose and mouth covered and we are asking for the one camel six-foot safe dis- tancing for our shoppers. Hand san- itizer is available around the store. We so appreciate your patience and compliance. We will all get through these challenging times. When we are closed, if there is something specifi c you need, I can do curbside sales with exact cash pay- ment. Please don't hesitate to call. Thanks for understanding and following our safety protocols for receiving donations. We are sanitiz- ing and holding donations on our porch. We cannot take truckloads of items at this time. The donation receiving area is smaller than we would like. Our amazing volunteers are processing donations as quickly as possible. A reminder that we ac- cept donations when we are open or special arrangements with a phone call. Please do not drop off after hours, as items are many times taken in the night.
