Industry Appreciation Month 2013
As Mayor of the City of Fayetteville, one of the comforts of serving our citizens
has been that our community has a strong industry base. Industry Appreciation
month is an opportunity to recognize and honor those industries for their many
contributions, as well as to build awareness among our citizens that existing
businesses play an integral part in the foundation of our strong, diversified
economic base.
Fayetteville has weathered the economic storm better than most cities and our
local industries have made the difference. We greatly appreciate their
investment in our city and are committed to provide the appropriate support to
help them grow and prosper.
On behalf of City Council and our more than 200,000 citizens, we extend a
sincere thank you to the industries in our city and surrounding areas for
investing millions of dollars, employing thousands of our residents and
continuing to make positive improvements to our way of life.
