He made lifelong friends in college and beyond because of Sigma Chi. Alumni Update Jim Spangler '50 celebrated his 92nd birthday on September 17, 2020. He and his wife, Kay, enjoy hanging out, reading, eating, and consuming large quantities of vino tinto. They've been doing many activities on Zoom, including church. It features a 5,000-foot runway, fuel farm, terminal, hangars, and GPS. He just completed widening the runway to 75 feet and adding PAPI. Brent raises registered Texas longhorns and restores classic wood boats. He lives in Vinita, Okla. He and his wife have three wonderful children who live within an hour of them. Buddy has great memories of Sigma Chi and would love to hear from his brothers. His three children, Lisa, Rod Jr., and Hal, all live in the Northwest and he sees them often. She was elected as one of the influential women in Southern Arizona and more than 600 women were entered. Bob's Growfast Farms is working to produce high-quality industrial hemp. Its employees are members of the White Mountain Apache Nation. If you haven't visited their 1.67 million acre homeland, you should consider this on a bucket list. He lives in Marana, Ariz. He and his wife, Carol, moved to Colorado to be with their children and grandchildren before moving back to Tulsa in 2018. Glenn has enjoyed being closer to OSU, Gamma Delta, and the brothers that live in the area. His daughter, Kara, is on staff at UCC Congregation in Lawrence. His daughter, Anna, is the mother of his two granddaughters in Evanston, Ill. Thad's spouse, Linda, is also retired. Linda and Thad are both involved in inequity, race, and education concerns on the local and national levels with Justice Matters. He and his wife, Judi, have been staying safe and spending quality time in ways they never imagined at their age. Kenneth enjoys working on Sigma Chi's behalf as the vice chairman of the Constantine Housing Initiative Board. He still has fun in the Dallas area despite the pandemic. George plays tennis several times a week and visits with friends online. He can't wait for the pandemic to be over. He has taught or conducted research at nine Oklahoma colleges and universities, including OSU. John's spouse, Morgan, works at Ascension St. John Hospitals in Tulsa. With their six children (three sons and three daughters) and 13 grandchildren, life is a blur and he's thankful for that. His oldest son, John, is a TCU Sig and former consul.
