Our GPA once again surpassed the previous semester's GPA of 3.33. Additionally, 61 of our brothers achieved a 4.0. We are very proud of our academic performance last semester and hope to continue improving in this area. Over the summer, our recruitment team did an excellent job of navigating the challenges brought upon by the pandemic to sign 35 new members. The team was led by Brock Youngblood '22, and thanks to their hard work, we adapted to the new world created by COVID-19 for a successful recruitment week. All 35 men were initiated in September, and we are very excited for this great group of guys to make a huge impact on our Chapter and campus during their time as active brothers. Last semester was cut short due to the ongoing pandemic. Oklahoma State University shifted to remote learning following spring break. Following the university's decision, Gamma Delta closed down the Chapter house for the remainder of the semester. We were also forced to cancel our annual Derby Days; however, we were still able to raise around $13,000 for the Huntsman Cancer Institute. Our philanthropy committee, led by Grant Sisk '22, did an excellent job of coming up with creative ways to raise money throughout the entire school year. Although the pandemic has created several obstacles, we continue striving for excellence at the Gamma Delta Chapter of Sigma Chi. We are excited about the future and looking forward to returning to normalcy. Finally, we would like to thank our alumni for their continued support. If you are ever in Stillwater, be sure to stop by the Chapter house.
