BY JAY BOBBIN As a woman who takes over planning her son's wedding and connects with the bride's uncle in "Meet Me at Christmas," you've made the latest of your several Hallmark holiday movies. Did it offer you the differences you may have sought? This one's light and romantic, and what I love about it is that it has a lot of hope. Here's a woman whose life now is about her son and taking care of him. She had an incredible love years ago, and since that man passed away, she's been kind of closed off ... but maybe she could love again. It's really sweet. You recently began filming Season 7 of your "Good Witch" series. How has working been for you during the coronavirus pandemic? With the protocols and the amount of work that our producers have put into really trying to think ahead, they've planned for as much as they possibly could. But, as one of the producers said, "We have a thousand questions, and we have a hundred answers." I'm so impressed by the flow lines and the charts and the directions like, "You stand here" and, "When that happens, we go there." And, "Here's the room where actors get touched up, and only these people can be there." It's quite strict, but the goal is that we don't have to shut down. And even if someone tested positive, they'd be isolated, so it's about as safe as you can possibly hope to be.
