BY MICHELLE WILSON It's typical for husbands and wives to have their squabbles, but no couple could quite compare to the Kramdens. First airing in 1955, "The Honeymooners" (airing Sundays on MeTV and weeknights on Decades) centered around Ralph (Jackie Gleason) and Alice (first played by Pert Kelton, but most notably portrayed by Audrey Meadows) and their comedic ups and down of everyday life in a small New York City apartment with their best friends, Norton and Trixie (Art Carney, Joyce Randolph), living upstairs. Ralph worked as a driver for the Gotham Bus Company, while his pal Norton was proudly employed by the sanitation department. Alice and Trixie were stay-at-home wives, always trying to keep their husbands' crazy antics in check. From going bowling, to attending meetings at the "Raccoon Lodge" or chasing after get-rich-quick schemes, "the boys," as their wives would call them, were always getting into some kind of predicament which made for a lot of laughs ... particularly with the very animated acting and the fact ithe show was filmed in front of a live studio audience. Viewers still in love with 'The Honeymooners' after 65 years "Movie: Judy & Punch" Australian writer/director Mirrah Foulkes made her feature film debut with this 2020 comedy caper about the titular puppeteers, who are trying to resurrect their marionette show in an anarchic town on the verge of mob rule. "Movie: A Most Beautiful Thing" Common narrates this 2020 documentary from director Mary Mazzio ("I Am Jane Doe," "Underwater Dreams") that follows the nation's first African American high school rowing team, many of whom were from rival gangs in West Chicago and were forced to come together as a team in the same boat. "The Parkers" The streaming service presents all five seasons of this 1999-2004 UPN comedy series about a middle aged mother who decides to go back to school, which happens to be the same college her daughter is attending.
