This year, fall formal recruitment was held in a virtual format and we were thrilled to have 48 new members join our sisterhood. These women have been a wonderful addition to our chapter and have already begun the promise program and our new member education process. Sigma Kappa is also participating in continuous open recruitment this fall and is starting to welcome new sisters into our chapter through that method as well. During the spring semester, Xi Chapter raised our overall chapter GPA by 0.26, which is an achievement that we are very proud of. We were also honored to receive three Sorority- Fraternity Life Awards. These awards require a lengthy application process, and chapters compete with organizations in all four councils at KU. We were awarded Outstanding Sorority and Fraternity Alumna, Outstanding House Director, and Outstanding Sorority and Fraternity Senior. Congratulations to Tiffany Hardin Neely '85, Joanie Calder, and Mary Kate Donegan '16 who won these awards, respectively. I also want to give a very special thank-you to our Advisory and Corporation Boards for all that they do. We appreciate them always, but especially in these new and unprecedented times. We also sincerely thank all alumnae who continue to give their time and financial support to Xi. It means so much to us and we really appreciate you.
