Bill Stewart of Redstone Family Realty Named 2020 REALTOR® of the Year Bill Stewart was named 2020 REALTOR of the Year by the Huntsville Area Association of REALTORS® (HAAR). Stewart, managing broker of the Redstone Family Realty Madison office, received this honor in August during the association's virtual celebration. A licensed agent for 21 years, Stewart has served with the Alabama Association of REALTORS® and the area association for more than a decade and has earned multiple production and quality service awards. "I've really enjoyed being a REALTOR, and it suits me and my personality,'' Stewart said. "I also get great satisfaction in helping people find their dream home or sell their home.'' Sean Magers, director of HAAR Association Outreach, said Stewart was selected by a committee of his peers for his success as a REALTOR and his work on behalf of the association. Kenyala has been a REALTOR in the Decatur office for five years and is active in the association and her community. She serves on the Membership Services Committee, which coordinates membership lunches, as well as helped conduct several New Agent Orientations at the board office. She is a Certified Relocation Specialist and a Certified Buyers Specialist. In her community, Kenyala serves as a foster parent in Morgan County and generously contributes a portion of her income from all her sales to the charity of her clients' choice. She has been active with the Mental Health Association's Friendship House, providing and serving lunches for the Mental Health Clients, and she contributed heavily for their Operation Santa Claus Christmas Project. "She goes the extra mile, while never seeking accolades for her performance, efforts, and contributions.'' Barbara Johnson Receives 2020 Cooperative Spirit Award Barbara Johnson received the Cooperative Spirit Award from the Morgan County Association of REALTORS for her enthusiastic support of the association and her community. "Barbara is the epitome of what this Spirit Award celebrates: dedication and commitment,'' said Freida Perry, Managing Broker at Redstone Family Realty's Decatur office. Johnson has successfully completed the extensive Top Gun Program and the North Alabama Leadership Program. Barbara won a 2019 Circle of Excellence Award from ER A for her production and contributions to the real estate industry.
