I
t's hard to believe that our Shelter at 1306
West University Avenue has welcomed
brothers through its doors for nearly six
decades. Over the years, we have set some high
expectations for ourselves and each other. The
new goals set by the current Delta Chi Chapter
and alumni are just as ambitious.
As you know by now, demolition of our
old Shelter was completed on May 18 and
construction is now underway for our new
home. We are eternally grateful to the 159
generous brothers who have pledged a total
of $4,753,590 toward our reconstruction
efforts. We set a goal of $5.5 million when we
announced the Pledge Delt Again campaign just
over one year ago. To ensure we meet this goal,
we need continued alumni support.
Since the demolition in May, we have laid the
foundation and begun erecting the structure
of our new Shelter. Despite the ongoing
COVID-19 pandemic and the challenges it
presents, we have seen great progress with our
new home taking shape. Every completed task
moves us closer to opening the doors to our new
Shelter for active brothers and generations of
Delts to come.
Brothers, are you ready to lead Delta Chi
into the future?
Your donation helps ensure that our new Shelter
truly stands out among all other Greek facilities
at Oklahoma State University. One can only
imagine the beautiful home that Delta Tau Delta
would have if all generations of our alumni
found it in their hearts to make a contribution
toward the future of our brotherhood.
We want to ensure that alumni who have
pledged at least $2,500 toward the campaign
are properly recognized. To achieve this, any
brother giving $2,500 or more will secure
their place on our donor plaque which will be
prominently displayed in the new Shelter. There
are several ways to contribute, whether it's
through a multi-year pledge or simply a one-
time gift. Please consider using the enclosed
pledge form and mailing your donation or
visiting tinyurl.com/pledgedeltagain to give
back today!
While it's a new decade, we are the same
brotherhood. Our standards are high, and our
goals for the decades to come are bold. This is
your chance to give back and ensure that Delta
Tau Delta remains strong on Oklahoma State's
campus for years. Please consider joining
your brothers who have already made that
commitment.
Fraternally,
