O
ur Fraternity experience and chapters serve
as a living-learning community where men
can learn (and fail) in a safe environment. Through
those experiences, the men have an opportunity
to test and try their leadership among their peers.
Each large meeting, individual encounter, and
conversation is an environment that shapes
and hones a member's ability, confidence, and
poise to prepare them for life after college.
These experiences will not only propel them into
a successful career, but establish friendships
lasting their lifetime. An ΑΓΡ experience provides
knowledge that supplements classroom curriculum
not taught elsewhere on campus.
Making the best and brightest men happens
locally. Those chapter leaders then become our
National Leaders. Our National Leaders inspire the next
generation, which completes the circle. To continue this
growth and maturity, Alpha Gamma Rho must:
Identify and recruit strong men by offering
financial incentives for energetic, inspired, and
capable men who have a thirst for learning,
demonstrate financial need, and devote
themselves to service.
Develop emerging chapter leaders, who
in turn will lead our local efforts, by providing
educational opportunities.
Provide training and support to Educatiomal
Leadership Consultants, Regional Vice
Presidents, and Home Office staff to ensure
undergraduate men have ready access to
valuable resources.
Surround our undergraduate men with
dedicated and well-trained Chapter Advisers,
House Mothers/House Directors, and alumni
leaders who demonstrate high standards and
expectations for excellence.
Through these initiatives, Alpha Gamma Rho
will build and sustain local chapter excellence by
developing outstanding chapter leadership teams.
