Gwyn Cowan Broken Arrow, Okla. Taylor Ellis Lucas, Texas Morgan Levendofsky Edmond, Okla. Valerie Rios Edmond, Okla. Welcome to our NeWest AlphAs! P rior to the university moving all in-person classes to online, we had many sisterhood events throughout the year that helped keep us connected like bowling nights, ice skating, Galentine's Day, and trips to the trampoline parks just to name a few. Our fifth annual Pizookie night took place raising a whopping $4,476 with all proceeds benefiting the Ronald McDonald House Charities. We even got a surprise visit by Oklahoma State men's basketball coach Mike Boynton who claimed the pizookies were "Coach Mike approved!" We had a very successful academic fall semester which allowed us to move up one spot in our overall ranking within Panhellenic. Fifty-two of our sisters earned a 3.5 GPA or above and 40 sisters received a 4.0 GPA, landing them on the President's Roll! For our 2020 Spring Sing show we would have been paired with the men of Phi Kappa Tau. While I hadn't had the pleasure yet to hear them firsthand, rumor has it they were pretty dang good! Nationally, our chapter was recognized for the following 2019 Programming Excellence and Superlative Awards: Harris Finance Excellence, Philanthropy Excellence, Best Financial Management and 0% Accounts Receivable. Concerning our recruitment, we are very fortunate to continue our association with the Wesley Center! The Wesley Center is conveniently located at Washington and University—the "Hollywood and Vine" of Stillwater. We are very grateful for the space provided to us and I know we can have another successful recruitment again! Finally, we continue with great anticipation for the opening of our new "ADPalace" as we already like to call it. While we're all anxious, the wait will be worth it. We will now have a house that will be a true show piece, not only for us, but for Oklahoma State Greek life as well and provide the forever home for Alpha Omicron whenever our sisters journey back to OSU. Love and Loyally, Sarah Shepard '17, Chapter President president.ao@gmail.com Diamond Quality Alpha Omicron Achieves Philanthropic and Academic Recognition
