The DePauw Phi 2 "I get to campus at least twice a year and I'll stop by the house. I do see alumni who come back for alumni weekends, as well as those who are on the House Corporation," John said. "I stay in touch with Chris "CJ" Johnston '83 and some of my other Fraternity brothers. Vic Burriss '81 just joined the alumni board, so I've seen him a bit. He's had two kids go through DePauw, and my daughter, Katie, graduated in 2012." Greek life is among the many topics that John and the alumni association have thoroughly discussed with DePauw's administration. Despite the challenges with Greek life and higher education, he's thrilled to see the progress that Indiana Zeta has made in recent years. "The students living there now are in a much better place than I was 35 or 40 years ago," John said. "The house corporation has done a tremendous job in upgrading and improving the living conditions." John met his wife, Susie, at DePauw, so it's always a joy for them when they return to Greencastle. Whenever John reunites with his brothers, he enjoys hearing about how the experience they had at Indiana Zeta made a profound impact on their lives. He hopes to see his brothers back on campus soon. "If you're an alumnus and haven't been back for several years, make sure you get back to DePauw and Phi Delta Theta," John said. You can connect with John at jccscslegal.com. PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT (Continued from page 1) Your Support Leaves a Lasting Legacy Thank You, Generous Brothers T hank you to all the generous alumni who have supported Indiana Zeta over the years. In the fall issue of The Depauw Phi, we highlighted the Albert L. Lund '48 Scholarships Fund which rewards Phi Delta Theta members for their scholarship, campus, and community involvement. Giving to the scholarship fund or the house corporation for facility improvements are ways to invest in our Chapter and leave a lasting impact. The following brothers made contributions last fall to the Albert L. Lund '48 Scholarships Fund or the house corporation for facility impartments. Interested in giving to the DePauw-managed Albert L. Lund '48 Scholarships Fund and/ or toward facility improvements managed by the house corporation, contact Chris "CJ" Johnston '83 at (317) 460-6755 or cl.johnston83@gmail.com. James R.
