Kappa Alpha's abundance of achievements are due largely in part to the alumnae who have given back to the Chapter. Our undergraduate sisters are thankful for the support and the bonds they've built with Kappa Alpha's great alumnae base. If you feel an error has been made regarding your donation, we sincerely apologize. Please contact our campaign coordinator at (785) 843-1661. "When that happens, we have an instant connection, which is really gratifying and downright joyous." She also thanks Chi Omega for teaching her to face tough obstacles head-on. Those lessons served her well through the rigorous studies of law school, juggling work and taking care of aging parents, and beyond. Audrey also stays busy with her continued passion for all things KSU. She serves in many volunteer roles for the university and is a founding member of the KSU Pre-Law Advisory Board. "A law practice can become all-consuming, so it's good to have outside interests in order to keep balance in your life. Being involved in K-State helps me do that. And every time I'm with my purple family, it reinforces that sense of community, purpose, and dedication." Audrey enjoys leading the rapidly growing DFW-area KSU alum club and proud of the club's endowed scholarship within the KSU Foundation, which helps send students from Texas to K-State. Of course, Audrey is a season ticket holder for football as well, and she flies in for all the home games! Last season, her sisters hosted a tailgate at one of the games, and Audrey loved the opportunity to see old friends and make new ones. "If you make an effort to remain connected to KSU and Chi Omega, I promise it will enrich your life in ways you never thought possible," she said. "My pledge class sisters and I are all in our 60s now, and the feelings of kinship have not faded one bit. There is great comfort in keeping connections to people who 'knew you when' and remain in your life to this day." In her downtime, Audrey enjoys traveling with sisters and K-State friends, and she also writes two newsletters: Cat Scoop (all about KSU) and Legal Briefs for HR. She also started Cat Counselors, a networking group for K-State alumni who are lawyers or law students. To sign up for Audrey's newsletters, look into Cat Counselors, or to connect with Audrey about Kappa Alpha Chapter, you can email her at amross@munckwilson.com.
