BQP Page 3 2020 House Corporation Update I t's always comforting to report good news! The Chapter keeps the new Theta Delta Chapter House in great shape. And that's great news because simple things like emptying waste baskets daily, cleaning the kitchen, washing dishes, and keeping the property picked up all go a long way toward maintaining the facility as alumni would expect. RESPECTED LIVING On a more interesting note, the Chapter has designated the living room as the "formal room," indicating the respect they have for it. The room is enjoyed all the time by members, but the nametag gives it special significance. A FULL HOUSE We're anticipating a full house of 48 for 2020-21. Theta Delta recruited 33 men this spring in addition to recruiting and initiating 15 members in fall 2019, now bolstering a total membership of 146. With deferred recruitment, the spring semester is the major recruiting period. This is good news for the undergraduates as they learn of the advantages of living in the Beta house and getting the most out of their college days. VISIT SOON Alumni are always welcome! If you find the opportunity to visit the new house, please stop by. The house is fully secure, fingerprint access only, so knock on the door and a member will welcome you. And if you let me know in advance, we'll make sure you get a full tour of the facility.
