Box 442100 Lawrence, KS 66044-2100 Address Service Requested O regon Alpha Chapter was busy in 2019. Throughout the year, our members worked hard in the classroom, on campus, and in the community. Thanks to our hard work and determination, SigEp was awarded the Kerr Cup at the Greek Awards banquet, naming us the best fraternity at Oregon State University. This award is based on excellence in academics, community service, member development, philanthropic commitment, and for providing extensive education to our members. Oregon Alpha has now won the Kerr Cup recognizing the most outstanding chapter on campus for the 13th time in 14 years since the award was established. MAKING THE MOST OF CARLSON LEADERSHIP ACADEMY The executive board and four other Oregon Alpha actives traveled to Los Angeles to attend the Carlson Leadership Academy 2019. At the event, Oregon Alpha received the Balanced Man Program and Balanced Man Scholarship awards for our outstanding recruitment process and intensive Balanced Man Program. OREGON ALPHA RECEIVES 25TH BUCHANAN CUP AWARD Oregon Alpha brothers recently attended the biannual 56th Grand Chapter Conclave in Houston, Texas, and we won the Buchanan Most Outstanding Chapter Award for the eighth year in a row. The award marks our 25th Buchanan Cup and our fourth straight Gold Buchanan Cup received, furthering Oregon Alpha's legacy of success. The Gold Buchanan Cup is awarded to chapters that have received the award for five or more straight Conclaves. For 16 continuous years, Oregon Alpha has been recognized as the premier representation of what it means to be a SigEp. Conclave highlighted the extraordinary tales of brothers committing their life to their passions and to their fraternity. It was an unforgettable trip that has motivated and changed our views of what it truly means to be a SigEp. We are excited to bring this motivation into our leadership roles as we step into 2020.
