SECOND PLACE / LARGE TRADITIONAL BATH
After close to fifteen years of living with a cramped
master suite, the client desired to increase the footprint
of their existing home with an addition to accommodate
a much larger master bath, closet and exercise space.
The client desired a larger walk-in shower, a separate
water closet with wall hung toilet, additional storage, a
freestanding soaker tub, and separate make-up area
(same height as vanities).
In addition, the homeowner wanted to create a
transitional look that blended with their traditional style
home, a circular traffic flow to prevent disruptions
while grooming, improved lighting for grooming and
general tasks, a color palette that is calming and
relaxing and a location for television, primarily for
listening.
