Howard Keefe '55 resides in Cary, N.C.,
and is active in the Sons of the American
Revolution, Sons of Confederate Veterans,
and the Rotary Club of Crabtree. Thank you
all for your ongoing civic engagement.
Favorite Memories
Several members fondly remember the
Swamp Stomp dance, tailgating with the
Firetruck, dancing to "Louie, Louie," and
singing songs and serenades.
Retired Life
Several members reported that they are
enjoying themselves in retirement.
John Peters '55 is living on Bainbridge
Island and taking care of their three-acre
homesite.
Robert Randall '67 lives in Pasadena, Calif.,
and planned a four-day backpacking trip on
the Pacific Crest Trail this summer.
William Deller '48, of Everett, Wash., is
aging nicely in an excellent environment,
feeling 97 years externally but only 47 years
young internally.
Celebrating America's Pastime
Dan Farrington '82 helped launch the South
Salem Youth Baseball Association and has a
wood bat invitational tournament named in
his honor.
Brian Stewart '82 was recently honored
with a Lifetime Achievement Award by the
Gladstone Junior Baseball Association for
his years of service. He also has a youth
tournament named in his honor.
Craig Gummer '85 is a mentor and coach
for a Little League Challenger team, which
provides opportunities for kids with limited
abilities to play the great game of baseball!

Recruited the largest new member class that SigEp has seen
in four years, with 37 total new members.
Participated in and won Alpha Phi's annual "Phear factor"
philanthropy.
Remodeled and painted the members lounge and garnished
the neighboring hallway bannister with stained wood decor.
Organized a Chapter-wide clothing drive and contributed
more than 50 articles of winter clothes to local shelters.
Sam Mortenson '22 was elected to the Interfraternity Council
Executive Board as Vice President of Engagement.
Awarded $2,500 in Balanced Man Scholarships to four
freshmen, including Will Bernacchi '23, Henry Bjork '23, and
Garrett Hall '23.
