COLLEGIATE ACHIEVEMENTS,
AWARDS, AND HONORS

ur undergraduate brothers excel in many areas, but they are especially proud of their leadership on campus, philanthropic endeavors,
academic achievements, and service to the community. Greek life at Ole Miss is experiencing unprecedented growth, and Eta's
membership is growing. Eta Chapter concluded the spring 2019 semester with 235 members, many of whom are active leaders within
the chapter, Ole Miss, and the Greek community.
COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
Sigma Chi raised $64,000 for charity in spring 2019
and completed 1,400 service hours.
ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE
Eta continues to excel academically. In spring 2019,
the chapter achieved a 2.90 GPA, above the all-
fraternity GPA of 2.89 and the all-undergraduate
men's GPA of 2.72, ranking seventh among
fraternities.
LEADERS ON CAMPUS
Sigs at Ole Miss continue to assume leadership roles
within the chapter, the campus, and the community.
• Bennet Wifong '19 served as the 2018 IFC
president.
• Jerret Estes '18 served as the 2017 IFC president.
• Austin Powel '17 served as the 2017 ASB
president.
• Gregory Alston '14 served as the 2014 ASB
president.
• Two members serve as directors for Ole Miss Big
Event, Mississippi's largest service event.
Eta Chapter received the Peterson Significant Award
the last three years (2017, 2018, and 2019) and a total
of 25 Peterson Awards.
