Alumnae News Fay Fulghum Grimes '48 and her husband, Stephen, have moved to Red Hills Village, an independent living facility, and will be selling their home in Tallahassee. Email: ggandgpop@ earthlink.net Elizabeth Hudson Lamb '48 lives in an excellent retirement home in Asheville, N.C., and enjoys the exercise programs and other activities that keep her busy. She is especially pleased to have two great grandsons that she sees often. Elizabeth still has so many good memories of KΔ. Email: dianele@bellsouth.net Carol Slosek Russell '60 is a step-on guide taking people around Jacksonville and Amelia Island. She also takes groups out of town to Nashville, Asheville, and Savannah, just to name a few. Carol also serves as the president of the Jacksonville KΔ alumnae club. At Christmas, she runs the Nutcracker boutique in the Jax Symphony. Email: ccalhoun@unf.edu Luke Brasfield Cooley '63 received her master's degree in social work from the University of Alabama, was elected as a Houston County probate judge from 1995-2013, and retired from serving on the board of Dothan Ara Botanical Gardens. She reports she is recovering from Hurricane Michael at Cape San Blas, Fla. She has taken trips to spend time with Betty Williams Crowe '66, Marilyn Kendrick Dean '66, and Linda Kay Rodgers Massey '68. Jean Long Mallory '81 joined 15 other FSU Kappa Deltas from the classes of 1979-1982 in Austin in October. The group has reunions each year. Jean lives in Henrico, Va. Her role is programming, leadership development, staff oversight, and fundraising. Email: bouchers@mac.com Valerie Wagner Smith '88 works as the managing director of the Young Actors Theater in Tallahassee, where she oversees the daily operations of the theater and school. Her son is a junior at Florida Southern College. Her daughter is a freshman at Troy University and was just initiated into Kappa Delta. Email: valsmith.yat@gmail.com Elizabeth Ponder McGraw '89 retired from regular practice as a pediatric radiologist in 2017 and has been staying busy as a volunteer in the animal hospital at the Jacksonville Zoo. She also serves as vice president of the San Marco Garden Circle and is a member of the Parent Association Executive Council at the Belles School. Elizabeth enjoys watching her sons play basketball and run cross country races.
