O n behalf of the active members of Washington Chapter, I would like to thank you for supporting us and providing an unmatched college experience. This fraternity serves as a foundation for many young men during this exciting period in our lives, and we're very fortunate to have this lifelong relationship. Bubble Bash Brings in Donations for Great Cause Last spring, we hosted our annual Bubble Bash auction, a charity event for Seattle Children's Hospital. We take great pride in raising money for the children who attend Stanley Stamm Summer Camp. At the camp, children with serious medical issues can enjoy fun activities that they'd be unable to partake in at a traditional youth summer camp. Over the years, Washington Chapter has raised more than $150,000 through Bubble Bash and other fundraising efforts, but we stepped up our game last spring. Innovative fundraising efforts introduced widely successful corporate sponsorships. We incorporated more alumni, helping us raise more than $48,000. This is the largest charity event of any fraternity in the UW system. Homecoming Highlights Fall Happenings It's been a busy but fun fall semester. We had a great time during Homecoming weekend, as brothers cheered on the Huskies against Oregon on October 19. Also take note of the new list of pledges on page 6. Excitement Builds with Remodel on the Horizon As we enter the final stretch of this monumental Campaign and remodel, we all feel a wide range of emotions: nostalgia for what was, fixation with logistics in moving 100 men to temporary lodging, and, of course, excitement for the future. Regardless of changes to come, the men of Washington Chapter are continuing the legacy of Alpha Delta Phi that you helped build. I can only imagine how much this project means to those of you who've contributed to the campaign. I want to thank you for your everlasting belief in what Alpha Delta Phi provides for college men and for making an impact that will span a lifetime. I hope many more of you will join this unified effort to support young men you may never meet, but who can be given the same lasting relationship you cherish.
