Membership runs from November 1 through Oc- tober 31 each year, so be prepared to reregister. Dues are $10 per person per year. You can register on our website (https://arizonasunriders. ridetrails.org/ and pay via PayPal or in person or you can complete the form at the meeting. Guests on November 8 will be Dee Pfl eger, AZ Game and Fish Wildlife Manager, who will speak to the new OHV Decal Program. Also invited are David Neito from the Yuma Proving Grounds, Ken Carver from the US Fish & Wildlife Services (KOFA), and a representative from the Quartzsite Police Department. These speakers should be able to an- swer all your questions about laws and rules when riding in this area. Looking forward to beginning an- other great season on the trails. For those interested in the Arizona Peace Trail, its fi rst committee meet- ing of the season will begin at 10AM at the LaPaz County Park in Parker. The meeting is open to the public. THE MARKETPLACE is pleased to announce the addition of SUN- LAND ART GALLERY. We will host an Opening Reception on Sun- day, November 17, 2019, from Noon to three in the afternoon. Remem- ber to stop by after church services before you go home. Refreshments will be served by Rock Java, includ- ing fresh baked goodies. The Marketplace is located at 70 N. Main Street, on the west side of Highway 95 just north of the Shell station. The Marketplace is noted for its fresh coffee, teas, fresh baked goodies, and fresh produce. The farmers produce is brought in fresh weekly after Thanksgiving from mainly growers in CA, AZ and Baja. All growing operations have exten- sive food safety systems that are 3rd party audited and approved. Be sure to stop by and check it out! Featured artist will be local resident Sharon Noller. Sharon special- izes in pastel paintings and acrylic painting with wood and bead over- lays. She has exhibited in Quartzsite for the last 5 years, and previously in the southern California area for over 20 years. A raffl e will be on display with Sharon's paintings as prizes. Stop by before the opening and purchase a raffl e ticket. You do not need to be present at Raffl e drawing to win a prize. Arizona SunRiders OHV Club meet Nov. 8 Sunland Art Gallery reception Nov. 17 Art Show planned Nov. 9th & 10th Branding Iron Art Gallery Invitational Art Show, in conjunction with the Buck Connors Western Days, has extended the show dates. The area's Fin- est Art Show and Sale will be held at the Quartzsite Community Center 295 E. Chandler St. located adjacent to the town park. The Art Show will be held Saturday, November 9, 2019 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. AND Sunday, November 10, 2019 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at which time three winners will be drawn from the raffl e tickets sold. The winners will be be able to choose original paintings. There is no need to be present to win. 100% of the raffl e ticket sales will go to local charity, as well as 10% of all sales in the building from the artist and authors. Last year's event raised over $1000.00 in donations. Thanks to YOU, our guests! This year's Show will expand to include more artists, also authors from the Oasis Book Store Authors Fair.
