C
ollege fraternities continue to play a vital and relevant role
in the development of young men. It is more important than
ever to provide young college men with a small, group-living
environment that offers them a solid foundation for their education
and opportunities for the development of leadership, teamwork, and
social skills.
Starting a fraternity is no easy task and attracts true
leaders. Our new undergraduates are committed
to working hard to re-establish the programs,
traditions, and timeless values that have benefited
the lives of so many SigEps throughout Indiana
Alpha's history. Together with our undergraduates,
the volunteer leadership of the Indiana Alpha
Alumni Corporation is committed to restoring both
our chapter and our beloved home.
Remember each of us benefited from the generosity, work, and sacrifice
of those who established our chapter. We all enjoyed the home and
brotherhood that Sigma Phi Epsilon provided during our years in the
house. Now it is our turn to step up and support the financial challenge
associated with this project. Together, we can ensure that the same
valuable experience we enjoyed is available for those brothers
who follow us at 690 Waldron.
We urge your thoughtful consideration of this plan
for the chapter house. With your generous support,
Indiana Alpha will reestablish an environment that
develops and supports outstanding young men with
the skills, vision, and confidence to face an ever-
changing world. e commitment we make today
cannot be underestimated—it will have an amplifying
effect on the lives of future SigEps for years to come.
