S ince our founding in 1905, Sigma Phi Epsilon has been an in- tegral part of the Purdue University campus. Although Indiana Alpha's history includes a record of distinction and accomplish- ment, our chapter has experienced disappointments and setbacks in recent years. Unfortunately, it became clear in late 2015—despite the best effort of university, national, and Indiana Alpha advisors—the un- dergraduates were no longer living up to the principles and values of Sigma Phi Epsilon. e decision was made to suspend the active chap- ter in March 2016. In the years since, a dedicated group of alumni has worked to make SigEp's absence from the Purdue campus brief. With the support of Sigma Phi Epsilon Headquarters and Purdue University, the effort to bring Indiana Alpha back began in early 2019 and is already a remark- able success. A new recruitment program and an updated member ed- A New Era for Indiana Alpha ucation program has already attracted a caliber of men that is second to none at Purdue. eir impressive record of achievement and enthu- siasm for the principles and values of Sigma Phi Epsilon is something that all alumni can be proud of. Upon this foundation, we will rebuild our success. Our successful return to Purdue must include the renovation of 690 Waldron. Without a more modern and efficient home for the chap- ter, Indiana Alpha will be at a disadvantage when competing for the best men at Purdue. e following pages detail a renovation plan for our cherished chapter house. is project will not only serve the im- mediate needs of our renewed chapter, but will restore our house to top condition for decades to come. e recolonization is thriving, but our future depends on our vigilance in supporting Indiana Alpha. e Campaign for Indiana Alpha — A New Beginning depends on you.
