Sigma Chi 3 A fter winning the J. Dwight Peterson Significant Chapter Blue Award, one of Sigma Chi's highest honors, Zeta Psi Chapter is motivated to keep working hard throughout the fall to make it one of the best semesters yet. We set a lot of goals at the beginning of the semester and we've already made great progress on them. Sigma Chi Signs 38 New Members Recruitment Chairmen Calvin Catania '22 and Ben Cummins '23 worked diligently throughout recruitment week to bring in a new member class of 38. This is the largest class in more than eight years and the second largest on our campus. A tremendous thank-you to the alumni who supported steak fry which is a huge recruitment tool for us. Upon being initiated, we know our new members will bring great value to our brotherhood and we can't wait to see the impact they'll make. Leading the Way at Cincinnati Zeta Psi is proud to be making a difference at the University of Cincinnati, as 80% of our brothers are involved in on-campus organizations. What's more impressive is 30% of those brothers hold leadership positions within their respective organizations. When people see the blue and old gold, they know we are there to make an impact. We set a goal last spring to become more involved on campus, and that is truly coming to life. Derby Days Delivers Great Memories Our brothers had a blast during Derby Days, which took place during the last full week of September. Our chairmen put a lot of time and effort into making sure the week was a huge success. The amazing week of events culminated in raising $20,000. Zeta Psi Gears Up for Homecoming with Zeta Tau Alpha We're looking forward to Homecoming week, which will begin on November 4. Colin Flanigan '23 and I are working very hard with Zeta Tau Alpha and alumni to make this week one to remember. With Zeta being a new sorority on campus, this will be their first Homecoming partnered with a fraternity, so we are excited to make their first Homecoming memorable! We also can't wait to see many of you back in Cincinnati for the alumni tailgate wrapping up Homecoming week on November 9. Alumni Contribute to Our Success The fall semester has been a huge success so far, and I could not be happier about what the future holds for the chapter. Our brothers are representing Zeta Psi in a positive manner, in-house and on-campus, and making an impact on everyone. Thank you to our loyal alumni for your endless support.
