Alumnae News Barbara Deetjen Bromby '68 enjoys traveling, golfing, and bowling in her retirement. She also volunteers with the Occupational Therapy Association of Colorado and her local church. Barbara enjoys doing genealogy for her family, which has been deeply rooted in Kansas. She lives in Lakewood, Colo. She has competed in six 340-mile paddle (kayak/canoe) marathons. Email: jpolson@nyc. rr.com Sarah Loring de Garcia '93 started her own business as an independent educational consultant (IECA) in June 2017 after 15 years working at the American School Foundation of Monterrey (20 years as a teacher/counselor). She is the only IECA member in all of Mexico and serves as vice chairman of the IECA Global Committee and as a member of the International ACAC Admissions Practices committee. Sarah helps students throughout Mexico and the U.S. with their applications to universities around the world. She resides in Santa Catarina, Mexico.
