However, the Texas Alpha Giving Honor Roll will remain active and will be updated every five years to recognize brothers' commitments to the annual campaign as well. New TAEF President Kelly Fish '77 stated, "Texas Alpha's alumni culture must change to fiscally support the chapter if we are to return to top tier status on the UT campus. Building the house was step one, an annual campaign is step two. One thing that all the top fraternities across the country have in common is a significant annual campaign." Moving forward, annual campaign giving will be added to previous house gifts and tracked for cumulative giving of each brother. If a brother was not able to participate in the house campaign, he could still eventually get his name on the Honor Roll plaque by reaching a cumulative giving level of $5,000. Additionally, brothers can move up into different giving levels. For example, if a brother is presently at the $5,000 Brotherhood Society and makes a pledge to the annual campaign of $1,000 per year ($83.34/month), after five years he would move to the $10,000 Tri-Phi Cornerstone Society. Nobody's name will ever be removed from the Honor Roll; names can only be added. Fish concluded, "The Giving Honor Roll plaque is an impressive statement of dedication to Texas Alpha. We would like to see as many brothers' names on it as possible. If brothers go to phipsitexas.com they can sign up online for monthly giving and take a virtual tour of the house."
