RETURN TO CAMPUS FLORIDA EPSILON CHAPTER ΣΦΕ The SigEp Seminole FLORIDA EPSILON s FLORIDA STATE UNIVERSITY s SIGMA PHI EPSILON Fall 2019 Groundbreaking Ceremony Makes Return to Campus a Reality Every Contribution Brings Florida Epsilon Closer to Our Goal T hirty alumni, Chapter members, and representatives from the university were in attendance for the ceremony, including FSU President John Thrasher '65. It was the first physical representation of the campaign, and it left all who bore witness to the occasion with renewed spirit and energy. Alumni and friends are the backbone of our organization, and we sincerely thank each of you who made this event possible. Every dollar raised goes toward our new home at Florida State. Thanks to over $150,000 in new gifts since March 2019, we were able to secure financing and begin the groundbreaking phase of the campaign. Thank you to the 94 brothers who have committed to the campaign. We have come this far with your support, and to keep us on track please make your best effort to keep your contributions on schedule as cash flow is key with the project underway. As with anything these days, construction costs are on the rise and coming in $100,000 over our initial projected budget. While the house will be completed, our $1 million goal is critical to properly furnish and provide finishes that are warranted for this caliber fraternity house. Now that the house is under construction, our motive is clear—we need you to be a part of this monumental undertaking. Every contribution gets us one step closer to the campaign goal. Your gift today will make an impact on the future of Florida Epsilon. Pledges may be stretched over a five-year giving period, if desired. It's time to take advantage of this opportunity to maximize your giving potential. All donors contributing a minimum of $2,500 to the campaign will be recognized on a plaque prominently displayed in the new Chapter House, and room naming opportunities are available for gifts over $25,000. With such a substantial project as this, it's easy to think that others will step up to the plate. But the truth is, the project needs you—whether you're actively involved or not—to step up and make a gift, no matter the size. There is no downside; this home not only secures Florida Epsilon's future at FSU but also provides a place for you and your fellow alumni to reconnect. The moment is now and within your reach. Won't you step up to the plate today?
