I have seen first-hand through my experience working with student affairs and on a university campus—as a professor, consultant, and longtime sorority volunteer—how quickly and easily academic institutions can impact and enforce change that is not always in the best interest of the student and the organizations that provide much-needed services, benefits, and safe, healthy spaces for individuals to grow and develop. Given the recent trends and developments among academic institutions, the support and advocacy of FSPAC is vitally important to preserve and strengthen protections that allow students to choose which organizations they believe will benefit them." Our member organizations are not being treated equally by university judicial systems and that's why it's important to increase alumni support and undergraduate involvement in our cause. Federal law requires the Fraternity and Sorority PAC to use its best efforts to collect and report the name, mailing address, occupation, and employer for each individual whose contributions are $200 or more in a calendar year. Funds received in response to this solicitation will be subject to federal contribution limits and source prohibitions. Contributions are limited by law to $5,000 per year from any individual or PAC, and contributions from corporations, labor unions, federal contractors, and foreign nationals are prohibited.
