Hello Rho Chapter alumnae,
Summer break has started, and our
house projects are underway at Rho
Chapter. Our members will return home
in August to new flooring and paint in the
dining room and snack kitchen, decora-
tive updates in the foyer, and upgraded
partitions in the second- and third-floor
bathrooms. Additionally, we are adding
new floodlights in the parking lot and
installing new bedroom furniture in two
more rooms. We hope to have all bed-
rooms updated in the next two years.
It is vital that we are able to provide a safe, comfortable, and updated
facility for our members as we approach Rho Chapter's centennial.
Housing competition at Ohio State continues to increase with a new
chapter house currently being built and several more being planned. I
will have completed photos of the dining room and foyer in our upcom-
ing fall newsletter!
I hope that you will consider making a
donation to the annual campaign. The
fund allows important upgrades to be
done to our chapter house, and we have
some outstanding major items on our
capital improvements list.
Our centennial weekend will be held
October 23-24, 2021, and we are cur-
rently visiting campus locations for our
Saturday luncheon. We hope that many
alumnae will join our collegiate mem-
bers in Columbus for this special oc-
casion! Additionally, please mark your
calendars for our annual Alumnae Homecoming Reunion on Saturday,
October 5, 2019. There will be a pre-game brunch at the chapter house
and an evening get-together to watch the game. I hope you are having
a great summer!
