B. Fundraising history and readiness
This section of the feasibility study analyzes the chapter's fundraising history and
readiness.
The house corporation partnered with Pennington & Company from 2013-2015 on
a capital campaign to renovate and expand the chapter house. This campaign
yielded $1,040,936 from 488 contributors (19.54% of the living mailable alumnae
base). Of the top 10 donors, two donors gave between $100,000 and $125,000 and
eight donors gave between $25,000 and $49,999. These top 10 donors comprised
43% of the total contributions.
Giving information was not provided from the University of Missouri Foundation
or the Tri Delta Foundation; therefore, contributions to these foundations were not
available to be analyzed.
C. Alumnae leadership and readiness
This section of the feasibility study analyzes the chapter's alumnae leadership
readiness, including incorporation status and diversity of era representation within
the alumnae leadership.
The Delta Xi House Corporation of Delta Delta Delta is properly incorporated in
the state of Missouri according to the Missouri Secretary of State. The house
corporation and advisory board consists of 19 members: two non-members, one
alumna from the early 1950s, four alumnae from the 1970s, six alumnae from the
1980s, five alumnae from the 1990s, and one alumna from the 2010s.
In any significant fundraising effort, it is important that the entire alumnae
constituency feel well represented and connected to the leadership, as confidence
in and connection to the board will translate to trust in the decisions the building
committee makes. Pennington & Company recommends the alumnae leadership
