DELTA PSI NEWS Kappa Kappa Gamma • Texas Tech University Summer 2019 $22,735 Raised Through 2019 Kappa Klassic Golf Tournament F or the past 22 years, the women of Kappa Kappa Gamma have proudly chosen the Children's Miracle Network as the beneficiary of our annual philanthropy event. Since 1966, we have been helping miracles happen through the Kappa Klassic Golf Tournament. Generous people come together each year for fun and camaraderie to raise money for this worthy organization. This year we raised $22,735 for Children's Miracle Network and had a record number of donations and participation from our members! Every year, Children's Miracle Network hospitals treat 17 million children for every disease and injury imaginable. Children's hospitals provide state-of-the-art care, lifesaving research, and preventative education for children 24 hours a day, 356 days a year. Lubbock's own UMC Children's Hospital and Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and their affiliated clinics, programs, and services are Children's Miracle Network hospitals. Net proceeds raised by the Kappa Klassic Golf Tournament go entirely to the Children's Miracle Network and will remain in Lubbock and surrounding areas so the Delta Psi Chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma can make a difference in our community.
