O ver the past couple of months, Colorado Alpha has reprioritized our brotherhood through- out the house. We've hosted several events that were engaging, meaningful, and reflective of the recently passed national policy focused on increasing the strong bonds of SigEp's brotherhood. Top Five GPA in IFC We have seen much improvement academically. The Chapter jumped two spots from last year, now ranking us fifth among the fraternities on campus. This semester, we incorporated an app to help our members track their study hours, encouraging more attention to our study habits. We are focused on improving our scholarship program and supporting our brothers in their academic achievements. Focused on Philanthropy This spring, we held our sixth annual Checking for Cancer fundraiser benefitting the Jimmy V. Foundation. Historically, we have raised nearly $20,000 annually and this semester we raised over $15,500 during the event. We are very thankful to the Greek community for supporting our fundraiser and look forward to next year's event! Impact of the Carlson Leadership Academy In February, some of our executive officers attended the Carlson Leadership Academy. Throughout the weekend we learned how to become stronger leaders and prepared for a variety of situations that may arise during our term. Having this experience gave our officers more leadership skills to suc- cessfully manage our Chapter, strengthen our brotherhood, and show us all the importance of strong alumni relationships. For the upcoming academic semester, we're planning a plethora of activities to enhance our brother- hood retention and alumni involvement. I would like to personally thank each and every one of you and would like to extend an open invitation to stop by the Chapter House and meet the undergraduates.
