Gracen Stanczykiewicz '16 Katie Krempp Begle '13 Living in Jasper, Ind. I graduated from Purdue in May 2018. I married my husband, Dakota, a few months after graduation and now go by Katie Begle! I began my career as a registered nurse at Memorial Hospital in Jasper, Ind., on the post- surgical floor. I now work on post-surgical, medical, wound care, and with a primary care provider in my hometown. I am continuing my education at Purdue, working toward my doctor of nursing practice degree (2021) in family nursing with hopes of overseeing patients in various nursing homes and researching dementia long-term. I am extremely grateful to those who offered financial support to continue my education. Thank you! Lauren Peacock '13 Living in Winchester, Ind. I graduated in May 2017 with a B.S. in agribusiness with a concentration in agrimarketing and minors in farm management and communications. I began my career with Monsanto Company working as a district sales manager trainee with DEKALB Asgrow in Effingham, Ill. In June 2018, I moved back to my hometown of Winchester, Ind., and received my Indiana Real Estate Brokers License. I currently work as an area representative for Halderman Real Estate and Farm Management Services where I use my background in sales, marketing, and farm management to help clients. In addition to my career, I have continued volunteering with the 500 Festival since college and recently applied to be a Randolph County CASA. Laura Poletti '12 Living in Chicago, Ill. I completed my senior year at Purdue with a degree in accounting and management and subsequently obtained my master's in accounting at Purdue and passed the CPA exam. Shortly thereafter, I began a career in public accounting at Deloitte and Touche, LLP. I have been working for two years as an external auditor, first in New Orleans and now in Chicago. Finally, I am the treasurer of the Alpha Chi Chapter Educational Foundation and have served in the position for two and a half years. Thanks to the generosity of the Alpha Chi alumnae, I was able to complete my education and begin my career on a stable footing. I am honored to have the opportunity to continue to serve the chapter and the Educational Foundation. Katie Wandzilak '13 Living in Chicago, Ill. I started my career directly out of Purdue with the Four Seasons Hotel Chicago in their management-in- training program. I got exposure in many operational departments in the hotel, which gave me a strong understanding of the complexity of luxury hotels. I am now an assistant in the catering department where we plan events, such as non-profit galas, weddings, corporate parties, and bar mitzvahs. Thanks so much to those alumnae who supported my education with financial backing! Where Are They Now? Catching Up with the Careers of the Educational Foundation's First Scholarship Recipients
