Mississippi Beta Through the Years
S
ince our founding in 1961, Pi Beta Phi has been at the heart
of Greek life at the University of Mississippi. With more than
2,600 initiates, Mississippi Beta has nurtured and sustained women
during some of the most formative years of their lives, cultivating
lasting friendships in the process. As alumnae, we can trace many of
our best college memories back to our Pi Phi experience.
More than ever, sororities play a significant role in the development
of young women and this growth is crucial in today's competitive
world. In addition to the standards taught by our sisterhood, we
acquired valuable assets, which have helped each of us become
friends and leaders for life. For many, these traits have been integral
to our personal success and helped make us the women we are today.
Our chapter house at 642 Rebel Drive is clearly the focus of
undergraduate life for Pi Phi. It has been a home away from home
for hundreds of young women and a classroom where our sisters
have learned integrity, honor, respect and sincere friendship.
However, if we wish for Pi Phi to continue its strong presence on
the Ole Miss campus, we must ensure that we are providing a safe,
modern and competitive facility. Now is the appropriate time to
secure our future.
