Hart PAge 3 Alpha Omega Chapter of Delta Gamma Alpha Omega Chapter House Takes Shape (Continued from page 1) technology, naturally curious, someone who builds collaborative relationships, and most importantly, must be able to walk the very thin line of being there for the women but not interfering with their operation of the chapter. And though today's house director will not likely host a tea or game of bridge for the other house directors as in the past, she will be a gracious host for many chapter dinners and proudly stand at the door during recruitment. Despite her title of house director, she will likely be called "Mom ____". Donor Recognition As we begin working with our sign company, we have begun to finalize details around room signage and the large donor wall recognizing the generosity of our donors. We have confirmed the verbiage with anyone who has made a gift that provided for naming rights. We hope to see mock-ups of those in the coming weeks. As we mentioned from the outset of our campaign, we will permanently recognize donors of $2,500 or more. Because of the sheer number of donors, the "donor wall" will be limited to the names of the donors who have made gifts of over $2,500 and will not include "in memory of" or "in honor of". These honorariums have been publicized in every newsletter. We also plan to have some sort of hardcopy book/magazine that includes all the newsletters from the campaign and a full donor listing including any "in memory of" or "in honor of." Additionally, we plan to provide this information digitally and on certain TV monitors when the house is open to the public. Finally, as is customary, the donor wall installed at the time of the dedication will be a temporary installation. That will allow us to recognize donors up through the dedication and allow for us to correct any unintentional mistakes. It's not too late to give and be recognized! Remember, all gifts are 100% tax deductible. Thank you for all that you have done, and continue to do, for the chapter. We look forward to seeing you at the chapter house in the future, especially at our House Dedication in September! In the Bonds, Ann Glosup Bordelon '86 Campaign Chairman aodghousecorp@gmail.com
