Kelsey said, "It makes for a really great result of the partnership of JBU. ey are sponsors of our programing and events. ey very graciously print a lot of our materials for those programs and events and advertising and they just continue to be a cheerleader for us and a great partner. We love having the quality of a college town; the vibrancy of a stu- dent population brings to downtown is invaluable. " Home Grown Festival - Also, very specifically, Main Street aligns one of their biggest events with JBU homecom- ing weekend to make sure both events are happening simultaneously. Lots of the people who are coming back aer years and years (maybe they haven't been to Siloam in a while) come back to this this really quaint and lively place. ey come downtown and see how much has changed and how much has developed. Farmers Market Year Round – Main Street large event is the Farmers Market, which is all year long. It's one that has the most impact for the community. Siloam Springs has the outdoor Farmers Market from April to October; and then an online market in the winter months, where people can order online then pick up butternut squash, homemade laun- dry detergent and honey at Poor John's Coffee. "We want to be of the community, for the community and by moving it to the coffee shop is a great way to test that," Kelsey noted. Girl's Night Out – Main Street does three Girl's Nights Out a year and a Hol- iday Night in November. Main Street is welcoming the ladies to come downtown, have a night out maybe with mother/ daughter or friends to eat, and go shop- ping and explore downtown. "e shops stay open late and get a great response and all the businesses love it. We have high turn out, with hundreds of women each time and drawings each week for door prizes," Kelsey said. "It's always such a hit. And these are designed to make sure small businesses in down- town Siloam thrives."
