For Lance, Theta Chi opened doors he would not have considered prior to joining. His career path was established through Army ROTC, but there were many intan- gibles that Theta Chi offered from com- munity involvement to relationship build- ing that helped foster his success. Lance believes Theta Chi prepared him for life by developing lasting relationships and in- creased responsibility through leadership positions that he uses in his career today. Those strong relationships and the network created through Tau Chapter remind Lance that brothers are only a phone call away. Lance recalls his time with the Chapter and says, "There was never a dull moment. Even weekdays became eventful when liv- ing with your brothers." Lance reminds his fellow brothers to reconnect with alumni that may have lost touch throughout the years. Lance strives to continue to be a positive reflection of Theta Chi fraternity. In his limited free time, Lance enjoys flying a small, single-engine Cessna and traveling around the country with his girlfriend, Hill- ary. Lance is also in the process of complet- ing his Master of Science in administration with a concentration of leadership from Central Michigan University. "Being a member of Tau Chapter gave me a great sense of pride because there were few other fraternities striving for excellence."
