3 Sigma Kappa Barbara Yadon Garrett '60 Her favorite experience as a collegiate member was attending Sigma Kappa National Convention in Washington, D.C. Barbara is retired after teaching for 45 years, and the last 15 years were spent at the MSU West Plains campus. kaygarrett@missouristate.edu Shirley Verderber Miramonti '60 Her greatest accomplishments were scholastics, and her most treasured ΣΚ experiences were sewing, designing, and creating new garments in her wardrobe. She is retired and active in numerous activities but is no longer able to meet her ΣΚ sisters on a regular basis. She advises her younger sisters to "be aware and as active as possible with post-graduate organizations." svmiramonti@earthlink.net Karen Darby Sullivan '61 Karen's first job out of college was at the University of Kansas medical school lab. Her most treasured Sigma Kappa experience is Founder's Day, and her greatest accomplishment was joining the Peace Corps in 1966. makdsullivan@yahoo.com Patricia Stokes King '63 Patricia's first post-college job was in the U.S. Army, and her favorite thing to do was ride horses. Her favorite thing to do is still riding horses, but she is a retired colonel in the Army and has four grandchildren. Sally Shunk Riley '68 Sally's favorite activities were spending time with friends, sharing meals, and playing games. Beverly's greatest accomplishment has been becoming principal of Sunnyvale Middle School in Blue Springs, Mo. beverlyleonard100@gmail.com Sonya Bourquin Busch '77 Horseback riding was one of her favorite hobbies and her favorite ΣΚ experiences were making lifelong friendships and learning social skills. Sonya enjoys many things including hiking, canoeing, and playing the piano. Her first post-college job was as a teacher. She is a retired elementary teacher who still enjoys taking photos, but her greatest accomplishment has been raising two great kids who turned out to be wonderful people. Eileen Hurley Gentry '80 Reading was one of Eileen's favorite hobbies and she was a daycare provider at the time.
