The arts center's nine signature series all continue into the new year, along with a few additions thrown into the mix for a lineup with something for everyone. Broadway Series The second half of the P&G Broadway Series continues the WAC's tradition of blending classic favorites with fresh theater going experiences — including the Arkansas premieres of three more shows. "You can really get a sense of trying to learn about [less common art forms]. It's really about introducing, and making available, these really low cost and really high quality programs." With the feel of a listening room, visitors will find insight into the songwriting process and the performers' backgrounds with this series. Tickets start at $30 March 7 — Gretchen Peters April 18 — Royal Wood May 2 — Molly Tuttle Starrlight Jazz Series Jazz curator Robert Ginsburg takes great pride in the Starrlight Jazz Series — which has been around as long as the WAC itself — challenging music lovers in the best way. A smattering of up-and-comers in the jazz world, musicians rejecting the barriers of genre, and conversely, legends within some of the genre's greatest traditions always pad the lineup. Tickets start at $30 Feb. 8 — Alfredo Rodríguez and Pedrito Martinez Duo March 15 — Peter Bernstein, Larry Goldings & Bill Stewart Trio April 19 — Benny Green Trio with Veronica Swift Coca-Cola Night Out Series The perfect date night, girls' night out or simply a treat to yourself, the Coca-Cola Night Out Series offers an exciting diversity of entertainment for the grown-ups. These performances offer 48 tickets at a higher price that include a meet-and-greet with the artists, as well as some seats in the hall reserved for students of the craft.
