This level of philanthropic interest is above average compared to other Pennington & Company feasibility studies. It is important to recognize that prioritization does not necessarily correlate to one's gift estimate but may coincide with their willingness to stretch their giving or appeal to others to join them in support. Interviewed alumnae had a variety of answers to explain the reason behind their philanthropic interest in Minnesota Alpha. Other priorities include religious institutions, education, family commitments, and other nonprofit organizations. Without making a commitment, interviewees were asked, "In the event the house corporation board moves forward with a capital campaign, would you expect to make a gift?" As shown in Chart I, 88% indicate they would make a pledge or gift, while 12% were unsure if they would make a gift at this time. This response is slightly above average compared to other Pennington & Company feasibility study findings.
