He says his name is Alex Muddy Smith. Why Muddy? "Have you any idea how many Alex Smiths there are? Try to fi nd me on the Internet, but Muddy?" Alex said. His nickname may be "Muddy" but his singing and playing are far from that. Alex will be doing a spe- cial Christmas program at Holiday Palms, December 22, from 7-9 p.m. $3 cover charge. Alex has played professionally in Reno, Tahoe and California. As a song writer he says he can write custom songs such as for weddings, anniversaries or birthdays. He has a powerful voice and coaxes from his guitar a whole orchestra of mu- sic. He plays Jazz and Bluegrass in addition to Country/ Western. His playing and singing "brought the house down" at Arizona Sun when he debuted there. He'll be appearing there with Mary Ellen's band Mon- days 6:30p.m. Better come early, the place is small, already packed and sure to get more so. Alex is new to Quartzsite and is available for shows and music coaching. Check out his website: alexmuddysmith@gmail.com, his phone number is 775-771-8751. Lo- cal venues will soon be standing in line to book him. • Old Costume Jewelry • Old Fountain Pens • Silver & Gold Coins • Sterling Silverware • Gold Filled Jewelry • Old Watches • Gold & Silver Jewelry Any Condition • Gold Nuggets • Dental Gold BUYING Hi Ally Swap Meet ~ Front Row Main St., Quartzsite AFFORDABLE RV SERVICE & REPAIR 775-250-4131 Appliances, Solar, Plumbing, LP, Electrical, Levelers, Slide-Outs Fast, Friendly MOBILE Service We acept ALL Major Credit/Debit Cards BLM Approved DEADLINE : WED.
