So many of you have earned your Angel wings this blessed season of giv- ing. Humongous thanks of gratitude are extended to countless individu- als and groups. Our dedicated bell ringers, amazing Angel Tree shop- pers, awesome VFW Freedom Riders' Toy Drive with riders even putting together two bicycles and sorting toys, wonderful Covenant Lutheran Church Toy drive, dollar drive from Coyote Fresh Foods to supplement angel Tree purchases, marvelous Eve's Place large bag of stuffed toys, unexpected check from Quartzsite Desert Flyers, our generous custom- ers who gave cash for us to go shopping, our super shoppers, and count- less others- that went back out shopping for requested items, stayed and sorted toys… you all have created an unbelievable Christmas season of giving. Elfi e Jan has done a supercalifragilisticexpialidocious job of wrap- ping packages for our fantastic Quartzsite Fire District's delivery of gifts. Come in today, December 19th and wish our Lillian MacFee a happy 96th birthday! "Speedy" as she is affectionately referred to, as we often have trouble keeping up with her, has chocolate Kisses to share! Can't make it? The Service Center will be available for Urgent Assistance with a phone call. Thanks for your understanding as we continue to make improvements to better serve our community. Please dispose responsibly, anytime, at the Town's chipper yard, near the transfer station on Hwy. 95, 1/2 + mile north of the Firestation. THE TRANSFER STATION IS OPEN SUN. - WED. 7:30AM-2:30PM. Also please remember coyotes are wild animals... please don't feed the wildlife! Christmas Lights for the whole family Quartzsite residents John & Celia Schroeder again transformed their property into a free Christmas Win- ter Wonderland, full of surprises for both young and old. Be sure to take the whole family to enjoy the holiday light display at 670 Olinger Dr., Quartzsite. (Two blocks east of the Grubstake, between Senter and Chandler streets) ~ Open 6pm till 9pm nightly through Christmas Eve. (or when the gate is open) A huge thank you to the Schroeders for their generousity of time and effort to the community! Let them know you appreciate their hard work to celebrate the season!
