John Shear '70 semi-retired in 2012 but has
fully retired as of this year. He spends half of
his time in Destin, Fla., with his wife of nearly
46 years, Debbie, and spends the other half
in Cullman, Ala. They enjoy spending time
with their two grandchildren. John also enjoys
golfing and is looking forward to the next

Jerry Tucker Jr. '76 lives in Fayetteville,
Tenn., where he is raising three of his
five children. He works for Goodman
Manufacturing and enjoys staying active in
his local church.
David W. McGill '77 retired from his
position as manager of distribution operations
at Bayer Healthcare in 2018. He lives with

K. Blair Temple '79 has three grandsons and
one granddaughter; the third generation of

Ladson Montgomery '81 lives in
Jacksonville, Fla., where he enjoys spending
time with his four grandchildren. His daughter,
Samantha, graduated from Alabama in 2018,
and his son, Ladson Jr., married in December.
